U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Railroad Crossing Elimination Grant Program
Program Description
The purpose of this program is to support highway-rail or pathway-rail grade crossing improvement projects, including but not limited to elimination projects, that improve safety and mobility of people and goods.
Eligibility
a state (including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and other United States territories and possessions); a political subdivision of a state; a federally recognized Indian Tribe; a unit of local government or a group of local governments; a public port authority; a metropolitan planning organization; and a group of entities described above
