U.S. Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Democracy Human Rights and Labor (DRL) Documentation of Hateful Rhetoric Targeting Minority Populations in South Africa
Program Description
The purpose of this program is to provide support to conduct conflict sensitive research and data collection to create a comprehensive record of violence affecting Afrikaner and other South African minority populations in line with international standards and develop recommendations for how to improve the law enforcement situation to ensure equal protection.
Eligibility
U.S.-based non-profit organizations/NGOs with or without 501(c)(3) status; private, public, or state institutions of higher education; for-profit organizations or businesses; foreign-based non-profit organizations/nongovernment organizations (NGO); and Public International Organizations
