U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Easement Restoration and Stewardship
Program Description
The purpose of this program is to conduct projects within lands protected through the Wetland Reserve Easements (WRE) component of the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) and the Floodplain Easement (FPE) component of the Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWPP). Project activities may include restoration of wetland and floodplain easements; stewardship of wetland and floodplain easements, and onsite and offsite assessment of easement conditions.
Eligibility
city, township, county, special district, and state governments; Native American tribal governments and organizations; private, public, and state controlled institutions of higher education; nonprofits; for-profit organizations; and small businesses
