3M Young Scientist Lab 3M Young Scientist Challenge
Program Description
The purpose of this program is to provide students in grades 5–8 the chance to change their world for the better with a single innovative idea. The 3M Young Scientist Challenge invites students to create an original solution to an existing problem.
Eligibility
legal U.S. residents who are at least ten (10) years of age as of April 30, 2026 and who are students enrolled in 5th through 8th grade at a public, charter, private, parochial, or home school located in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia
