Program Description
The purpose of this program is to support projects to preserve and protect military installations; assist Florida is for Veterans, Inc. with economic and workforce development efforts in military communities; conduct planning and research and development to support military missions, businesses, and military families; and improve the state’s military-friendly environment for service-members, military dependents, military retirees, and businesses that bring military and base-related jobs to the state.
Eligibility
defense-dependent local governments and local economic development councils representing a local government with a military installation that could be adversely affected by federal actions
