U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) National Program
Program Description
The purpose of this program is to incentivize and accelerate the upgrade or retirement of the nation’s legacy diesel engine fleet. Activities may include the retrofit or replacement of existing diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment with EPA and California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified or verified technologies.
Eligibility
city, township, county, and state governments; Native American tribal governments, organizations, and intertribal consortia; independent school districts; private, public, and state controlled institutions of higher education; nonprofits; port authorities; and metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs)
