U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Second Chance Act Community-based Reentry Program
Program Description
The purpose of this program is to provide support to provide mentoring and transitional services for people returning to communities from adult correctional facilities and who are assessed as moderate to high risk for recidivism.
Eligibility
nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; and Native American tribal governments (federally recognized)
