Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Coastal Partnership Initiative (CPI)
Program Description
The purpose of this program is to provide support for coastal communities to plan and implement projects that promote sustainable use of coastal resources, improve public access to the coast, restore natural habitats, and enhance community resilience to coastal hazards.
Eligibility
Florida’s coastal local governments (Florida's 35 coastal counties and all municipalities within counties' boundaries that are required to include a coastal element in their local comprehensive plan). Florida's public colleges and universities, regional planning councils, national estuary programs and nonprofit groups also may apply if an eligible local government agrees to participate as a partner
